The Cravaat® dining scarf adult bib
The Cravaat® dining scarf adult bib is a fashionable scarf that protects like an adult bib. The microfiber feels like a very soft elegant suede. Most stains wash out. It will even wipe clean while you’re dining. It’s also dryer safe and wrinkle resistant.
How to wear it
Simply drape the Cravaat® dining scarf over your chest to protect your clothes like an adult bib, or tie it at your neck for added flair.
Closure option:
If you are concerned about your dining scarf staying closed, order it with a
Button and Loop closure. Easy to use, without the risk of velcro which can snag clothing and wear out in the wash.
Magnetic Snap closure will be available soon. This is easy to use, but should be considered with care for those with a pacemaker/defibrillator. Manufacturers indicate that pacemakers/defibrillators will stop working when a magnet comes in contact with it, but will resume working when magnet is not over the unit. Consult your doctor regarding any concerns you have with using this magnet.
Dimensions
14″ across chest x 26″ long (full length – 54″) The width of the scarf at it’s widest is 9″. With a natural overlap, the total width measures approximately 14″ and possibly more.
Packaged in an organza bag which makes it easy to take with you wherever you dine.

The scarves i bought are beautiful and held up well in the wash. Stain came right out of the scarf. I keep one in my car for when i am drinking coffee in the car. I wear one when im going out to eat and I gave one as a gift. Im in my 50s not quite a senior yet but love the fact that i can wear for style and protect my clothes. No one knows other than its a pretty scarf and on the ocassional oops i know i just saved a good shirt and the scarf comes out clean. Scarves are in style and i get a lot of compliments. Its a win win. Will be ordering anither one just for style rotation.

I bought three of the navy pebble scarves six months ago and they are great! They wash up beautifully and still look like brand new even though they have been washed and worn numerous times. Wonderful product!

Perfect, perfect, perfect! I am so happy with this beautiful Cravaat!
DinerWear also gives me a refund because I bought several, without asking!

About ten years ago — at a fancy restaurant in downtown Philadelphia — I was so determined to not spill food on my clothes that I wore a bib that was not attractive or dignified. I wish I had had this bib then and many times since then. If I had worn this over the years, I would’ve had less laundry and fewer stains.
I like the microsuede fabric because it is soft and doesn’t fade or shrink. Also, I like that it’s more narrow around the neck. Thumbs up!

I bought one for my daughter with special needs–wanted something to prevent stains on her clothes that was more dignified than wearing a traditional bib. This is a great concept.

I ordered the Cravaat Wide in the Burgundy Dot for my sister-in-law for Christmas. It is beautiful! The neck of the scarf has been shaped so there is not bulk going around the neck which allows the front to lay flat. The black dots have just enough shimmer to be pretty and not overdone. The fabric feels wonderful! I would like a blouse in this fabric. It came with a lovely organza bag with draw sting. I would wear this in a heartbeat as a lovely accessory!

I got the black one for vacation. I absolutely LOVE it. When I spill (which is most meals) I just wipe off the stain on my Cravaat and the stain just disappears. Best thing ever. Now vacation is over but my Cravaat is i my purse for meals out and at home. I’m in a weekly lunch group and I can’t wait to wear it. I know the girls will be wanting to know where I got it. Thanks for a great product!

I received my first dining cravat scarf as a gift. I liked it so much that I ordered 2 more in different colors to blend with whatever outfit I am wearing. What a wonderful concept – certainly better looking than a napkin stuffed in your shirt collar.

I received our initial shipment this morning for our memory care senior living community, and I am here to order several more! I first became aware of this product when shown the “Dining with Friends” dementia care training video and am piloting them in my community, so that their implementation may be considered corporation-wide (7 communities in OK, TX, and CO so far). Already the staff and administration here are in love with them! So much more dignified and stylish than “bibs”. Thank you!

Mom was having problems with food spots after every meal; however, she lives in Assisted Living and was very embarrassed to even think of wearing a “bib”. So, I began to search for a dignified option of clothing protector for her. The Cravaat is perfect. Mom ‘s clothing stays clean all day, and all her tablemates are very complimentary of her new “scarves.” Thank you Dinerwear.

This is a grace for many older people. I am always embarrassed because I am a little ‘overendowed’ and things drip and I end up with spots on my blouse almost every time I go out. Now I wear it and feel completely at ease knowing I can simple wash it when I get home, and no one is the wiser. My family and friends think it’s great, too, now everybody wants one! I will have to get busy with my orders for Christmas!

This dining scarf is great for every age. My nephew was over for dinner and we put my father’s Cravaat on him while he was eating his ice cream. We grown-ups could relax about him staying clean, and he didn’t mind wearing a clothing protector. Perfect! Thanks!

My elderly mother needed a dignified adult bib–and this scarf has been perfect because it’s mistaken by everyone for a normal scarf. The organza bag keeps it compact and easily portable. Because the material is not slick, it stays closed for good coverage when overlapped over the chest. And the scarf washes and dries perfectly. We have several of them–one in her walker that she uses in the retirement community dining room, one on her own breakfast table, and one in her handbag for when she’s out and about. I’d love to see a few more solid colors to choose from–maybe a nice cream color, for example (the white is too reminiscent of a napkin in my view). The black is marvelous for formal dinners; we bought one to use at my niece’s wedding reception, and mom looked elegant wearing it at the table. These have helped save mom’s clothes from staining, something that had always annoyed her. Whoever came up with this adult solution to an embarrassing problem for elders is a genius! Don’t balk at the price–they’re worth every penny and will last for years.

We’re so pleased to hear your mother is enjoying her stylish dining scarf adult bibs and that they are working as intended: to look like a scarf. Take a look on our website (www.dinerwear.com). We do have an Ivory color Cravaat available.

My daughter found these last year when they were mentioned in HomeCare Magazine. We bought one for my mother, and she keeps it in her Rollator compartment so she has it when she goes out to eat. She wants another to have a spare. Great product!

I have been wearing these for years! I’m a young senior citizen, but I always seem to get something on my clothes when I eat. Everyone admires my “scarf.” Countless friends have admired it and have bought one. The cravat is a lifesaver, not to mention a clothes-saver.

I bought your snake skin bib for my mother for Christmas and she LOVES it as do her friends. She live in senior apt. and now her friends want the bibs. I’m buying another one for her in a different fabric.
